Art-Deco Glam Meets Brewery Pub
The iconic Mildura Brewery Pub is housed in the historic art deco building that was once home to the Astor Theatre, a beloved local cinema. The design thoughtfully preserves the venue’s cinematic past, with much of the original theatre’s intricate detailing meticulously restored to honour its legacy.
At the heart of the pub is the operational brewery, where stainless steel tanks brew craft beer, now taking the spotlight once reserved for the silver screen. The space retains its theatrical roots, with projectors casting music videos and sports events onto a screen framed among the brewing tanks. The vibrant projections create a dazzling interplay of light, their colours reflected in the sleek surfaces of the tanks, adding a sense of spectacle reminiscent of the theatre’s glory days.
The crowning feature is the magnificent Chicago-style bar, a masterpiece that recalls the opulence of the art deco era. Crafted from solid timber and detailed with backlit acrylic panels, the bar exudes the elegance and grandeur of classic cinema interiors. Every element of the design embraces the timeless allure of art deco, making the Mildura Brewery Pub a place where guests can savour craft beer in an atmosphere steeped in history and glamour.
